Dear Daniel, oh what a day yesterday was! You see before you a photo of a very sad Daisy. Daddy took her for her morning walk before work yesterday and unfortunately Daisy was attacked by another dog and wounded. Mummy then had to hot foot it down to the vets with you in tow. She had to be drugged and stitched up. This photo represents a 'drugged Daisy'! Thankfully, today she is much improved though has some beastly sized antibiotics to take for the next week!!

Awww, cute.........

Daddy bear, Mummy bear and Baby bear.... :-)
Oops a Daisy....have another go.....
Yey!! You're really getting the hang of being on your tummy!
What a CUTIE!!! So, to continue on telling you what has happened in your 11th week...... You went for your 2nd swimming lesson on Monday and you actually swam underwater!!! George (your teacher) 'pushed' (!) you right under in a sweeping motion and you came up to face Mummy with a sort of 'non plus' expression of 'what happened there'!! All three of you little boys had different responses! Seth spluttered and coughed, Joshua sadly cried but you just looked dumbstruck!! Mummy is pretty scared about knowing that she has to help you swim underwater next week! Wednesday was another baby massage which you didn't altogether enjoy this week, mainly because Alexandria cried a lot, which set you off too! You also peeeed on Mummy's top when she leant over you to give you a kiss!! You then went to see all the guys at UHS and followed this with a trip to the Dr's to get your second immunisations. Puse purple is a good description for the colour of your face after the jabs!! Thursday saw you going to your very first birthday party - Katie was 1yrs - at Chocadores cafe. Elaine, Mummy's midwife was there, but she didn't get to give you a cuddle as you slept through the entire party in your buggy!! :-) The party must have worn you out as you then made Mummy the happiest Mummy on earth by sleeping from 7pm to 6am!!!!! That's 11hrs!!!! We hope this is a picture of the future!! But is probably a fluke for now!

Daniel, this photo prooves that you and Daisy are already becoming close friends as you are showing Daddy that you are unimpressed with the way he teases Daisy!!

Hi Daniel :-) What a week! Tomorrow you turn 12 weeks old and Mummy and Daddy are hoping that this will be a positive turning point for you and your sad tummy.
Meanwhile, you still get concerned about the camera! This photo demonstrates clearly that you can't understand where Daddy disappeared to!!!

What a smile :-)
Unimpressed by the camera!!
Daniel, this photo shows you encouraging Daddy before he sacrifices playing with you in order to revise for an exam on a lovely Saturday morning. We love Daddy for his hard work which will ultimately bless us as a family.
This photo shows you helping Daddy wind down from a hard day at work! You're clearly understanding the stresses and strains of the wonderful world of procurement!!
We LOVE your smiles!!!
Dear Daniel, this photo is for your Cool Fun Aunt Julia who is still sunning herself in Togo!! Daddy is a bit mean to Daisy!! He spent WAY too much time trying to get her to balance the penguin on her head!!! Hopefully it will give Auntie Julia a big :-) !! Only 3wks til we see Auntie Julia :-) yey!!

Dear Daniel, today you and Mummy went to your first ever swimming lesson!!! Look at these trendy swimming trunks you have! You're not allowed in the pool without these special ones which are very snug around the waist and legs!! Daddy wasn't sure you'd like swimming, but thankfully for Mummy, you loved it! Your teacher is friendly George and he has lots of brightly coloured animals to grab your attention. Today we learned the words 'kick kick kick', 'hold on', 'Daniel Swim'. Your class mates are Seth with his Mummy Liz and Joshua with his Mummy Olga. We swim at a private school's bath, Mylnhurst School in Millhouses - its lovely and the water is 32C lovely and warm!! Next week you get to learn how to swim under water!!

Its great that today was a fun day and you enjoyed almost all of the day as yesterday was a bit of a melt down from midday to 8.30pm! However, you did sleep from 11pm to 7am! Tomorrow Mummy is a little daunted about as she is taking you on the train to Leeds to give a presentation where she is a runner up for Yorkshire and Humberside Healthy Universities for both her topics of Binge drinking and Asthma education sessions for students. She's more scared about taking you on the train than she is about giving the presentations! She's intending to have you snuggly in the african style wrap around her tummy whilst she gives the talk! It'll be interesting to see what she says in the next post in a couple of days when she's recovered! Wednesday this week is your first Baby Massage class which I'm sure couldn't come a day too soon after yesterday and tomorrow!

More smiles :-)

Dear Daniel, Grandma and I have decided that knitting patterns don't really tell the truth! Grandma knitted this cardigan and these lovely soft booties for you when you were born - however, you only just fit into them now at 10wks!!

Dear Daniel, thought you might like to see photos of your first home in comparison between 2004 when Mummy first bought it and 2010 when Mummy and Daddy sold it....

Dear Daniel, this week has been an exciting week in that we have now 'sold' your first little home! When you are old enough to read this, it'll be interesting to know if buying and selling a house in England has been changed for the better or not! Currently its a crazy system that is fraught with excitements and disappointments at any stage of the game. At the time of writing, we have a buyer for your first home and an accepted offer on what we hope will be your second and longer term home just a few streets away. Sadly, until we have the keys in our hand, one can never be certain that its all going to go ahead. Mummy and Daddy feel sure that God is in control and so are putting their faith and trust in Him for everything that hopefully will happen in the next few weeks. It's difficult not to get excited though, as you can see from this pickie!

Dear Daniel, these are images of you and Daddy, both contemplating whether you are a morning person or not!!!! You're still only 9wks old - wow! Daddy however, at 40yrs old still isn't sure whether he's a morning fan or not!!

Dear Daniel, this is a little blog to say 'Thank You' to Dave and Sue for this cute and lovely star outfit - you are our star!! Its nice that you're showing so many parts of your developing character in these photos!! xx

Dear Daniel, please forgive your Mummy for liking stripes!!

Initially, Uncle Andy felt overwhelmingly intimitdated by you!!!! But, as you can see, you eventually persuaded him that you aren't so scary!! :-)
